This fully narrated, multimedia experience is a love letter to Route 66. From glowing neon to vintage motor courts, you will trace the road that helped shape the Duke City and the American road trip. Cruise historic Central Avenue past icons like the KiMo Theatre, El Vado Motel, and 66 Diner. Along the way you will explore Albuquerque’s culture, cuisine, and pop culture history, from red and green chile to filming locations from Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. Riders will explore the many palate-pleasing uses of red and green chile, learn the thundering call of the University of New Mexico Lobo, discover film locations of major motion pictures and television (including Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul), and even see a beach in the desert, a castle and more! Featuring the Old Town Plaza, Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, Museum Row, Route 66, Nob Hill, UNM, Rail Yards, Sawmill Market, El Vado Motel, sports stadiums and more!
You'll pass through historic locations throughout the Downtown Albuquerque area.
